- ➤ Students in Mr. Ramsey's business class at CMR High partnered with Big Sandy Organics to develop a Kamut snack bar and are working on flavor, packaging, and marketing as it may be sold as a fundraiser for DECA. They will refine the product and explore next steps later this semester. KXLH
- ➤ CMR business class partnered with Big Sandy Organics to create a Kamut snack bar as a hands-on lesson in marketing, branding, and budgeting. The project may later fundraise for CMR and Great Falls High DECA chapters pending funding. KRTV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Colonel Jen Cinq-Mars (the first woman to command the 219th RED HORSE Squadron) assumed command on Jan. 10 at Malmstrom AFB. The squadron will continue its role in rapid disaster response and infrastructure support for state and national missions. KXLH
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mobile crisis teams in Montana explained that a patchwork funding system is forcing changes in behavioral health response. In Great Falls, one unit closed due to low Medicaid payments & state officials consider raising reimbursements to sustain these vital services. Montana Public Radio
