- ➤ MTN's Tim McGonigal presented a $1,000 check to the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art on Thursday, Jan. 15 — a gift from the Scripps Howard Foundation that will fund the museum’s third grade art explorers program by covering bus fares and art supplies. KRTV

- ➤ East Middle School students turned a trending meme into a charitable campaign by donating 67% of funds raised from a pajama day fundraiser and hot chocolate sale; they raised over $1,000 to help Make-A-Wish and plan to repeat the event annually. KXLH
