  • Pit Stop Tavern, located at 1600 25th Avenue NE in Black Eagle, will serve its last customers on Saturday (Feb. 14) after nearly 14 years as new local owners plan to reopen the brewery, bar, and casino within months while current employees can reapply.  KXLH

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Cascade City-County Health Department confirmed its first pertussis case in 2026 and said multiple infections remain suspected. Residents with a persistent cough, fever, or whooping sounds should get tested, wear a mask, and follow treatment advice (contact your provider).  KXLH
  • Cascade County confirmed its first pertussis case — though only one case is verified, health officials reported several suspected infections and urge anyone with symptoms to get tested and wear a mask for safety.  KRTV
