- ➤ Four earthquakes shook the area with a 4.2 quake on Jan. 29 and three smaller aftershocks following, but no injuries or damage were reported. Seismologist Andres Castro said the shakes are normal and the Bureau of Mines and Geology is adding local instruments (to help track future quakes) so residents can be better informed. KXLH
