ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Holiday Village Mall in Great Falls sustained minor wind damage on Wednesday, Mar. 25 when strong winds tore off a piece of siding and damaged a skylight; the area below the skylight is taped off and no injuries were reported.  KRTV

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Great Falls-based Vision Net is evolving its edge data centers to cut AI latency and ease power demands in Montana. The company will discuss its approach at a Data Center Task Force meeting — Monday, Mar. 30 at 5:00 p.m. at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites.  KXLH

CULTURE NEWS

  • Western Art Week concluded last Saturday night in Great Falls when a live auction at the Heritage Inn (hosted by the C.M. Russell Museum) sold 150 art pieces, including Russell’s oil painting 'The Rattlesnake' for $1.3 million.  KRTV

  • Great Falls’ new CMR baseball team debuts in a home doubleheader Saturday at Don Olson Field (games set for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.). Players emerged from energized practice at Grande Vista Park, and head coach Tony Forster said the team is ready to build a lasting legacy.  KRTV
  • Great Falls High will launch baseball as a spring sport for the first time, fielding teams with CMR. The debut season begins next Saturday, March 28 in Missoula, and the home opener is set for April 4.  KRTV
