  • Toby’s House Crisis Nursery received a $50,000 boost from Printing Center USA that advances its 6,000 sqft facility (at 205 Seventh Avenue South) closer to serving families by Summer. Construction began this week as part of the Building Permanent Hope campaign.  KXLH
  • The city rescheduled the annual waterfowl release for April 6 at 10:30 a.m. due to spring snow; the Public Library will host story time at 9:30 a.m. and Park and Recreation cares for the birds over winter at the Honker Hilton near Gibson Park.  The Electric

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Emergency crews fought a structure fire at Hickory Swing Golf Course on Monday, March 30 at 8:15 p.m. at a warehouse on American Avenue that stored golf carts + equipment as they controlled the blaze and set a fire watch while investigators assess the cause.  KXLH

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Sam Forstag, a longtime wildfire firefighter and union leader, discussed his campaign for Montana’s western U.S. House seat in an MTPR interview yesterday. He said his plan is to work with leaders from both parties to improve housing, health care, and childcare.  Montana Public Radio
  • Road workers in Great Falls are fixing potholes and cleaning streets as mild winter weather eases maintenance challenges. City communication specialist Meredith Dawson said improved conditions have allowed crews to quickly complete repairs so roads remain safe.  KRTV

  • Great Falls athlete Duncan Schroeder won two state swim titles for the Bison while CMR wrestler Gage Allen captured the 190 pound championship with a thrilling overtime win + both earned Tribune’s 2025-26 Co-Boys’ Athlete of the Winter title.  Great Falls Tribune
  • CMR wrestling sophomore Mady Deiter repeated as state mat champion, finishing her season undefeated and earning Tribune Girls’ Athlete of the Winter Season honors for the second time.
