- ➤ Great Falls police say rising gang-like activity among juveniles has alarmed local officials, as young people have been seen with weapons and involved in shootings and vandalism. - ➤ Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art received the 2024 Professional Accomplishment in New Exhibit Presentation award at the Museums Association of Montana Conference for its exhibit—WITHIN—which featured work by Blackfeet artists Louis Still Smoking and John Isaiah Pepion. The exhibit ran from October 20, 2023 to March 17, 2024 and marked the museum’s first exhibition of its kind in Montana. KXLH

- ➤ Chief Joseph Elementary School in Great Falls celebrated Month of the Military Child this week by transforming its lawn with purple pinwheels—each representing a student from a military family—and hosting interactive events with help from Malmstrom Air Force Base. School liaison Lisa Sapp said the activities support mobile military families since 11% of local public school students come from these households. KRTV
