Old Chicago Pizza — a new restaurant by Johnson Restaurant Group — held a festive opening today at 1101 Seventh Street South in Great Falls, drawing a crowd that received free pizza coupons as the venue now employs over 70 people to boost local jobs.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.

The Cirque Italia Water Circus will take place in Great Falls from May 16 to May 19 under a big top tent in the Holiday Village Mall parking lot, featuring magic, acrobats, aerialists and comedy on a water stage.

The show will have performances at 7:30 p.m. on May 16 and May 19 along with additional shows on May 17 and May 18 while ticket prices range from $15 to $65.

A Montana bill may soon provide first responders with workers’ comp coverage for PTSD treatment if it passes—Sen. Cora Neumann said PTSD causes physical damages that should be treated like other work injuries.

Supporters hope the measure will help prevent resignation and suicide while opponents warn of added taxpayer costs.
