- ➤ Emergency crews responded at 1:45 a.m. on April 14th to a house fire at 321 First Avenue SW, where a generator ignited a fire that spread into the wall and attic spaces and caused the house to be a complete loss—two of the five occupants were taken to Benefis Health System for evaluation while the American Red Cross was notified. - ➤ Great Falls Fire Rescue responded on April 14 at 1:46 a.m. to a generator fire at 321 1st Ave. S.W.—the fire made the house a total loss, killed a dog, and led to two residents being taken to a hospital while a fire a year ago at the same address has prompted officials to propose code changes to recover firefighting costs from dangerous buildings.
