- ➤ The Great Falls Community Food Bank will expand its Backpacks4Kids program this Fall — adding two middle schools and Centerville School to the 15 elementary schools that receive over 1200 food packs each week. The program, started in 2011 and grown in 2017, will need a 30% budget increase as it helps families face rising food costs. KRTV
- ➤ Nominations are open for the annual Paris Gibson Award in Great Falls—local residents who have significantly impacted the community through volunteer work and leadership can be nominated. The winner, selected by past recipients, will receive a $500 check donation, a memorial tree, a granite marker, dinner for two, and a ride in a 1918 Model T Ford, with entries due by May 8 and the winner announced before the Municipal Band Concert on June 25 at 7:00 p.m. KRTV

- ➤ Melissa Ann Barone, a 55-year-old from Great Falls who pleaded guilty to trafficking meth, was sentenced in federal court on April 15 to 20 years in prison with five years of supervised release — she was also ordered to forfeit nearly $75,000 in cash, a gun, a BMW, and a motorhome. KRTV
