- ➤ Great Falls is hosting the Big Sky Reptile Expo today at Great Falls High School starting at 10 a.m. where expo organizer James Dvorak previewed reptiles on KRTV last Friday—including a blue beauty snake, a Utah banded Gila monster, and a pattern diamondback terrapin—and families can enjoy hands-on kids’ sessions at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. as local vendors and breeders from Montana and California join the event. - ➤ Regional gas prices in the Rocky Mountain region rose last week to an average of $3.13 per gallon on Monday, up from $3.10 the week before, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Prices are just below the national average of $3.14 per gallon — including Montana — indicating a modest increase from last month's rates. Great Falls Tribune

- ➤ On April 25, the Montana National Guard's 83rd WMD-Civil Support Team trained in Great Falls using Centene Stadium and a city-owned building for a simulated hazmat response, practicing with their mobile lab to test for chemical, biological and radiological threats. The Helena-based team of 5 Air Guard and 17 Army Guard members worked with Great Falls Fire Rescue and was evaluated by Army North—strengthening ties with local emergency agencies. The Electric

- ➤ Today, packet pickup for the 45th annual Ice Breaker Road Race is available at the Great Falls Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—all participants receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt, finishers medal, door prizes, fuel, and a race bib. - ➤ Yesterday, Great Falls Memorial Stadium hosted the CMR area Special Olympics event that brought athletes from central Montana together. The event served as a warmup for the Montana state games in Billings in three weeks — giving local competitors a chance to showcase their skills. KRTV
