- ➤ The city of Great Falls will open Electric City Water Park on June 6 with a lazy pool, slides, a heated outdoor pool, and a new splash pad funded by grant money that replaces the baby pool—two neighborhood pools at Jaycee Pool (Fourth Street and 26th Avenue NE) and Water Tower Pool (34th Street and 7th Avenue South) will open on June 16 from 1 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. KRTV

- ➤ Fewer Canadians are traveling to Great Falls as a weak Canadian dollar makes trips more expensive, with Sweetgrass border crossings falling nearly 20%. - ➤ Great Falls Public Schools is transferring intervention teachers to elementary classrooms to cover a shortage of 15-17 classroom teachers for the upcoming school year, which has raised concerns among educators and families about reduced support for struggling students. - ➤ City of Great Falls held public forums this week to discuss using tax increment funding to support downtown housing projects — a plan meant to fix vacant spaces and ease the housing shortage — and officials will present the plan to the city commission for a vote by the end of summer.
