EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Primed Defender Academy in Great Falls is currently offering self-defense classes taught by Bailey Cassinelli and her family (instructors with real-life experience) to help local women build safety skills as they learn American Kenpo and situational awareness. KRTV
- ➤ Touro University is expanding its Great Falls campus with a law school and nursing program. The law school received ABA approval and will begin recruiting in August 2027 (the nursing program has Montana State Board approval) to meet local legal and healthcare needs. The Electric
- ➤ Lincoln Elementary students built NASA-inspired kites to explore wind science after a recent windstorm damaged the school’s roof. Montana State University’s NASA AREN program supported the project — giving students a hands-on way to learn real-world science. KXLH
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Evans Riceville Road—four miles south of Belt off Highway 89—is restricted to one lane after a slide on June 1 caused by heavy rains. County crews and engineers will monitor the road today and advise drivers to avoid heavy loads to keep the lane safe. The Electric
