COMMUNITY NEWS

  • On Saturday, hundreds of families gathered at Wadsworth Pond for the 31st annual Family Fishing Day sponsored by the Great Falls Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited & local groups taught fishing skills like knot tying and casting. The event provided fishing rods to 600 participants and helped young anglers prepare for statewide free fishing days on June 14th and 15th.  KXLH

  • Reptile Universe—the largest reptile supply store in Montana—opened its new location in Great Falls yesterday at 404 First Avenue NW, where owner Kelly Stephens offers reptiles for sale and adoption. She plans future expansion to add classrooms and a zoo area for kids while continuing to run a reptile hospital upstairs.  KRTV
  • Reptile Universe, the only dedicated reptile shop in Great Falls, opened its new location on June 7th at 404 First Avenue NW and now offers reptiles for sale and adoption. Owner Kelly Stephens said the shop will expand soon—adding native species and education spaces while hoping to partner with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks.  KXLH
