- ➤ City officials approved the final payment on July 15 for the second phase of the Missouri River north bank stabilization project to pay Olympus Technical Services $15,597.70 and the state miscellaneous tax fund $157.55. Construction ended on June 12 and the project stabilized a 550-foot riverbank that protects the Rivers Edge Trail and a nearby 36-inch sewer main — saving costs by avoiding unexpected issues. - ➤ City commissioners set a public hearing for August 19 to review KIB Homes' request to annex 67 lots for the planned Peace Harbor subdivision south of the main Peak location. The developer’s proposal features 30 lots in the first phase, smaller lot sizes, and cul-de-sac designs — the planning board unanimously supported the zoning and preliminary plat on June 24, and water and sewer construction is expected to begin in 2026.
