Over 50 historic military vehicles stopped in Fort Benton Saturday during the Military Vehicle Preservation Association's Lewis - Clark 2026 Convoy.
The vehicles traveled 2,100 miles from Bismarck, moving through Lewistown, Highwood and Great Falls, with the final stop set for Fort Stevens.

NorthWestern Energy is drawing down water at Black Eagle Dam for final repairs to strengthen its spillway, with work running through Sept.
16 and local crews adjusting irrigation at parks including Voyagers Stadium (and Gibson Park) to protect riverbanks. Residents are advised to avoid exposed muddy banks.
