- ➤ Amber Marie Burnett, 36, was charged with felony tampering with evidence after a fatal crash on Aug. 9 on Hughesville Road at U.S. Highway 89 that killed a 19-year-old passenger; she removed two packs of Twisted Tea from the vehicle (while on probation) and law enforcement later recovered the items. - ➤ Gordon Johnson, who led the Great Falls Symphony for 35 years, has been named artistic advisor to guide the orchestra during its leadership transition — the group is searching for a new conductor and recruiting new musicians as it prepares for upcoming performances in the renovated Mansfield Theater. - ➤ Downtown Great Falls hosts the annual mural festival where nine artists install nearly 50 murals in the alley behind the Times Square building and today a workshop is led by Wes Abarca + the event features international artists from Australia, Colombia, Argentina and Spain curated by muralist Cameron Moberg.
