- ➤ Great Falls police are searching for 83-year-old Wayne Hunt, last seen driving his blue van from the 700 block of 32nd Avenue NE on August 29, and the Cascade County search and rescue team has launched boats in the Missouri River south of the Warden Bridge along Lower River Road—his whereabouts remain unknown. - ➤ A suspect died after an armed home invasion in Gibson Flats just south of Great Falls on August 30th—officers said the residence's occupants escaped safely while responders found that the suspect did not follow commands and several shots were fired inside. KXLH
- ➤ Great Falls Police confirmed that 83-year-old Wayne Hunt—last seen leaving his home on 32nd Avenue NE at 7:30 a.m. on August 29th while heading to Walmart—was found in the Missouri River, and authorities said they are investigating the cause of death. KXLH
