- ➤ Spark! Children's Museum of Montana is set to reopen in early 2026 as new director Jackie Worstell leads plans to update exhibits and move the museum to a building at 201 Second Avenue South — the facility has earned a $111,000 grant for ADA improvements and fundraising has begun. The museum closed its Railroad Square location in November after a long run and now prepares for a modern refresh that meets today's learning needs. KRTV

- ➤ Great Falls apartment rents increased 3% since last August — the typical rent is now $1,295 compared to last year's $1,255. One-bedroom rents jumped 16% from $893 to $1,040 as new data shows rising prices for all apartment sizes. Great Falls Tribune
- ➤ Regional gas prices in the Rocky Mountain states rose for a second week to $3.24 per gallon on Monday from $3.18 per gallon last week — making the region about 1.5% above the national average, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Great Falls Tribune

- ➤ On September 11, Malmstrom Air Force Base held its annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony to honor nearly 3,000 lives lost in the attacks, including firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, and military personnel—Staff Sgt. - ➤ Cascade County Commissioners voted on Sept. 9 to accept a $179,949 grant from the DoD’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation to fund a full-time temporary liaison for the Sentinel project—this role will guide six key deliverables through March.
