- ➤ Families in Great Falls enjoyed a new ADA-accessible playground that opened at Morony Park on September 25, 2025, featuring adaptive swings & smooth surfaces for children of all abilities. City officials said the project, funded by Community Development Block Grant funds, will be enhanced by a planned pavilion and upgraded sidewalks. KXLH

- ➤ Pizza Ranch opened Monday, September 22 at 2515 10th Avenue South with a 5000 square foot arcade—rentable party rooms and a full menu offering pizzas, chicken and desserts are available for families in Great Falls. The restaurant is the largest of its 219 locations nationwide and is now hiring staff to meet local demand, Page said. KXLH

- ➤ Great Falls will host its second annual Oktoberfest on Central Avenue today from 5pm to 10pm with German-inspired food, live music, and family games. Organizers have added extra vendors, staff, and activities such as a steinholding contest to accommodate larger crowds. KXLH
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Great Falls Public Library hosts free LEGO clubs for elementary students and teens to build creativity and teamwork; the elementary group meets Wednesdays at 3:15 p.m. and the teen group meets Mondays at 3:45 p.m. at 301 Second Avenue North. Youth Service Specialist Carol Millsap said the programs often lead children to explore books after building with LEGOs — sparking ongoing interest in learning. KXLH

- ➤ The Great Falls International Airport held a large-scale emergency drill on Thursday to test how first responders would manage a simulated mass-casualty incident. Multiple agencies including airport staff, fire, police, and EMS worked together—practicing triage, diagnosis, and patient transport to prepare for a real crisis. KXLH
