- ➤ Thirty fifth-grade construction campers built six dog houses over three days in June under the guidance of four construction teachers and six community volunteers at the annual Construction Camp and donated them to the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center on October 14th—helping shelter dogs get a proper home. - ➤ On Oct. 13, Great Falls Public Schools approved a 15-foot easement for NorthWestern Energy to power a new air quality monitoring station at the Seibel soccer complex—east of 52nd Street North and Silverwood Court. - ➤ Great Falls Park and Recreation has launched a contest for an original non-AI design in vector format to serve as the 2026 Ice Breaker logo, with submissions due by Oct. 25. - ➤ Green Apple Behavioral Health moved into a new 9000 sq ft facility at 1219 Central Avenue and has expanded its mental health, addiction, and support services to operate seven days a week. - ➤ The city planning board voted in favor to annex 25 acres and zone a 154-pad mobile home park called The Lariat at 4600 7th Ave. N. on Great Falls' east end at its Oct. 14 meeting—staff said the project requires off-street parking and infrastructure improvements.
