Sparkettes of Montana will host their annual Trail of Terror fundraiser on Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1 at a field near 47th Street and 13th Avenue South in Great Falls—organizers expect the event to draw a record crowd with spooky scenes and jump scares, noting last year's turnout was much smaller.
Great Falls Fire Rescue responded to two house fires this week—one on Oct.
20 at 1430 8th Ave N.W. with an accidental kitchen fire that caused heavy damage and one on Oct. 25 at 817 6th Ave N.W. with an electrical basement fire that caused significant damage, bringing this year’s total structure fires to 29 while all occupants and pets were safely rescued.
Great Falls Park and Recreation’s annual leaf pickup starts today with only two crews because fewer full-time and seasonal workers are available, which may cause some delays in service.
