COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Great Falls youth will receive holiday gifts as Cascade County detention officers use the Santa's Favorite Correctional Officers program to sell discount cards and hold fundraisers that buy Christmas presents for children in need throughout the county. The program, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic and helped 22 children last year, plans to expand its services year-round—its next fundraiser will be held on November 24 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mighty Mo. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ CMR High School’s theatre department will stage The Addams Family at the Bill Williamson Auditorium starting November 14, with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. and matinee performances on November 15 and November 22; tickets cost ($10) each for the run through November 21-22. KRTV
- ➤ Great Falls Public Schools keep 21 food pantries stocked with meals, snacks, and household items to help students and families as community donations meet a growing need amid rising costs. School staff say about 55% of students participate in free and reduced lunch programs and the centers also offer holiday baskets and daily snacks — support vital to the district. KRTV

- ➤ On Wednesday, November 12 at 10 a.m., Cascade County Disaster & Emergency Services will test the CodeRED Emergency Notification System by sending a recorded message from Sheriff Jesse Slaughter to all phone numbers over one hour—no action is required. KRTV
