- ➤ Local nonprofit Bikers for Kids in Need is running Angel Trees to support 125-150 families in Great Falls this holiday season by matching family wish lists with donated gifts & holiday meals that include essential winter clothing for cold weather. Volunteers pick a family tag at Times Square, Scheels, or Go! Toys & Games in Holiday Village Mall to help children facing recovery or unstable housing receive support. KRTV

- ➤ Holiday air travel is picking up at Great Falls airport as extra Allegiant flights begin early this week ahead of Thanksgiving—airport officials said around 600 people are expected on busy days compared to the usual 500—and Rockies Kitchen & Bar is ramping up meal preparations to serve increased traveler traffic. - ➤ NorthWestern Energy has signed letters of intent to power proposed data centers that will use roughly twice the electricity consumed by current customers, and environmental groups worry local ratepayers could see higher bills if new safeguards are not set. - ➤ Great Falls Municipal Court will host the annual Canned Food Day on December 5 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as defendants paying monthly fines can bring ten non-perishable food items to receive a month’s credit+collected food will be donated to the Great Falls Community Food Bank with Set Free Ministries volunteers assisting. - ➤ Amy Dissmeyer was chosen as the new director of the Great Falls Public Library after the board voted last week, and she will begin on January 5th, 2026.
