- ➤ Great Falls Public Library launched the Charlie Cart Program, a mobile kitchen now located at 301 Second Avenue North—designed to teach nutrition and healthy cooking for children and community groups. - ➤ Great Falls mom Lauryn Jackson started a Facebook group called Teens Need Christmas Too to help older kids who feel forgotten during the holidays. After being laid off from her clinic job during a government shutdown, she set up the group—allowing community members to donate money for essential items—and the response has grown with many families joining. - ➤ The joint Historic Preservation Advisory Commission asked the City Commission to allow fencing around the Boston and Montana Barn and to solicit bids over the winter so stabilization work can begin in March—having raised $30,000 since spring.
