- ➤ The Montana Pittie Project has rescued pit bulls and bully breed dogs, with Ashley Wilkinson adopting Coco from Fetch Boutique after the non-profit saved her from a Texas shelter—proving that these dogs are not inherently aggressive. The organization will host a meet-and-greet for Zeus in Great Falls on Sunday, December 7th from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. KXLH
- ➤ Toys For Tots is moving to a new, secure warehouse to support more than 9,200 children this season after serving 7,300 kids last year in eight counties. The nonprofit will host year-round events including Pictures with the Grinch on Dec. 4, the Christmas Stroll on Dec. 5 and an auction on Dec. 13, and will join KRTV’s Day of Giving to gather donated toys and funds. - ➤ Ashley Wilkinson of Fetch Boutique adopted a pit bull named Coco in 2023 after learning of the Montana Pittie Project’s work — a program that rescues bully breed dogs from high-kill shelters.
