- ➤ Just-A-Prick Tattoos is hosting its annual Toys For Tattoos Toy Drive through Dec. 22 at 900 Central Avenue West. Shop owner Shawn Dusek said the drive supports struggling families by doubling toy values for tattoos, gift certificates & services during the holiday season. KRTV

- ➤ The University of Providence declared financial exigency on Dec. 11 due to financial issues after Providence Health will end aid by the end of 2027 — leaving an $8 million annual deficit — and the school plans to cut costs, suspend programs, and reduce staff to stabilize operations for 2026. - ➤ Benefis patients were notified on Dec. 2 that unauthorized access to personal data occurred in January and was confirmed after a review ending late September — they are urged to follow the instructions provided in the letter, including enrolling in a free twelve-month credit monitoring service.
