If you're taking kids out tonight, you've got plenty of options: scavenger hunts, senior-living celebrations, downtown trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treats and a haunted house. Mixed rain and snow showers start to increase late in the day, but you won't need the parka under the costume.

At , mall-wide participation is no longer mandatory, but a number of businesses say they still plan to hand out treats.
